3. Loeb Conference

In 2023, the meeting, which had to be cancelled several times due to pandemics, returns to its original rhythm.

After the topics of the previous conferences appealed to a wider audience, this year's conference is dedicated to the Munich history of psychiatry. The conference, entitled James Loeb and the History of Psychiatric Medicine, is in English and will be held in Munich from June 4-6, 2023. As additional partners we could win the Institute of Psychiatry of the University of Munich, as well as the Max Planck Institute of Psychiatry.

On Sunday, June 5 at 5 pm, the opening speech of our member Dr. Antonia von Hirsch will take place in the lecture hall of the Schlossmuseum in Murnau. The title of the opening lecture is "Emil Kraepelin's Treatment of Loeb." To this lecture as well as to all other lectures of the conference, you are all cordially invited.

We cordially invite all members of the James Loeb Society to a Wine & Cheese Reception on Monday, June 5, 2023 at 6 pm at the Glyptothek Munich.
